Well a lot of us don't post here much anymore because we are on facebook from the iPhone. zydecotalk still has it's appeal. One thing is the posts will stay up a while and won't drop off the front page everyday. Another is the sentimental value that some of us have for the place. I appreciate the fact that Greg hasn't given up on this yet but: it needs more traffic.

It takes time... respect .... outsiders can become part of the group and while you may not be accepted by everyone... you can really be a part of the community and really make some great connections and friends with many in the locals only crowd.

In light of increased complaints and a death at a Mardi Gras trail ride earlier this year, the St. Landry Parish Council is expected to begin work on a revision of its trail-ride ordinance.
The council has called a special meeting for early December to deal with just this one issue.
